Bad Wolves - Friday, Aug. 2
Tilt your head back and howl into the South Dakota sky as platinum-certified heavy metal outfit Bad Wolves deliver an evening of unapologetic hard rock on Friday, Aug. 2 during the Buffalo Chip’s Official Sturgis Rally Kickoff Party. The LA-based quintet’s unpredictable metallic intensity and impressive instrumental proficiency will shine as bright as the full moon as they perform hits such as “Killing Me Slowly,” “Remember When,” “Sober” and their haunting cover of The Cranberries’ “Zombie.”

The Chip kicks off the 84th Sturgis Rally the right way with a parade of motorcycles, Drifter Cross stunt trials, the Star-Spangled Banner, The Rally Roar, the Monster Wall Smash Stunt, and entertainment from Bad Wolves and the 2024 Sturgis Battle of the Bands winner. The kickoff party is when our fuse of anticipation finally touches the powder keg.

It’s not a Buffalo Chip rally without a major ThundHer storm rocking the Sturgis crowd to the core. ThundHerStruck, the Ultimate All Girl Tribute to AC/DC, brings an evening of high-voltage entertainment to the Buffalo Chip Amphitheater on Saturday, Aug. 3. ThundHerStruck combine the raw power of AC/DC, with a hard hitting and electrifying performance covering both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras of AC/DC tunes. Travis Tritt - Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024

Call in a “Metal Health” day and Bang Your Head to ’80s metal gods Quiet Riot Monday, Aug. 5. Famously described as the first heavy metal band to top the pop charts, Los Angeles quartet Quiet Riot became an overnight sensation thanks to their monster 1983 smash album “Metal Health”. Kid Rock – Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024

 The Sturgis Buffalo Chip is celebrating Black Friday by announcing it is the Official Unauthorized Headquarters of the Rock ‘n Noem presidential campaign, as well as a performance by Kid Rock on The Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling’s Stage on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024 during its 34^th annual Freedom Celebration.

Kid Rock joins a Buffalo Chip lineup that already includes top artists Jelly Roll, Travis Tritt and Aaron Lewis. More entertainment announcements for the 2024 Sturgis Rally are coming soon. Passes are available now at BuffaloChip.com.

If you are lookin’ to get “Lit Up”, it’s hard to find a better band to do the job than Buffalo Chip house band Buckcherry. This tradition reached a death-defying climax with Daredevil Wednesday in 2013. As seen on CMT, Clint Ewing attempted the longest motorcycle ride through a tunnel of fire but seconds after entering the flames, he crashed through the side, barely escaping with his life!

In 2023, the Buffalo Chip went even bigger with the Death Wire Daredevil Spectacular! First, Shawn Ives jumped over 11 cars in honor of Robbie Knievel. Then highwire walker Blake Wallenda and motorcycle stuntman Kyle Ives attempted what even the legends Karl Wallenda and Evel Knievel would not…

Over the packed amphitheater, Blake skywalked an 800-foot highwire, where midway across, Kyle jumped over him with his motorcycle!

Following last year’s thrilling triumph, you’re getting another heart-stopping series of stunts as the Chip brings back Daredevil Wednesday in 2024.

Before Theory of a Deadman and Hinder, Blake and Kyle will join forces again! This time, Blake will walk a highwire Wheel of Death, and Kyle will jump a motorcycle through a ring of fire that hangs below it.

There will be a ton of insane stunts to kick off the evening leading up to the Highwire Wheel of Death, including Unsung Zero and Regular-Sized Joe bursting through a wall of Monster on minibikes in the Monster Wall Smash, and Shawn Ives breaking through a fire wall while riding on top of a drift car.

Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Rusty Wallace Ride
I’ve met a great number of celebrities over my lifetime, but few as gracious and charismatic as NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace. He’s ranked as one of the top five money winners in NASCAR history, has 55 career victories over sixteen straight seasons and is honored in the “triple crown” of auto racing halls of fame. Rusty is one of America’s greatest racecar drivers of all time, and he is always ready to meet fans and lead the charge for great causes.
