84th Sturgis Rally Events Schedule - 2024!

The Chip kicks off the 84th Sturgis Rally the right way with a parade of motorcycles, Drifter Cross stunt trials, the Star-Spangled Banner, The Rally Roar, the Monster Wall Smash Stunt, and entertainment from Bad Wolves and the 2024 Sturgis Battle of the Bands winner. The kickoff party is when our fuse of anticipation finally touches the powder keg.
Be One of Only 100 Riders to Join the Parade
At 5 p.m. you can line up at the CrossRoads to join hundreds of bikers* to parade through the Chip’s legendary amphitheater for the kickoff. The parade starts at 6 p.m. Here’s How:

A Buffalo Chip concert ticket gives the holder entrance to the Buffalo Chip for ANY and ALL event's put on inside the Chip's arena during that day. The Headliner Bands normally start at around 10pm. Check your ticket for details.

The Buffalo Chip’s Legends Ride is the heart of the motorcycle community in one big ride, raising charity funds for several area charities. The Ride that Rocks has hosted bikers from all over the world, including some of the biggest names in social media, television and streaming broadcasts, movies, music, motorcycling, and political leadership. Buffalo Chip charity events including the Legends Ride have raised more than $2.1 million for charity.

Here, the Legends Ride invites you take part in an unparalleled live custom motorcycle and art auction that features a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle going to the highest bidder.

Following the always exciting auction, riders will enjoy a self-guided, scenic ride led by Legendary celebrities and special guests through the beautiful Black Hills alongside hundreds of fellow Legends Riders.

A moment of respect in front of the Buffalo Chip Freedom Celebration field is followed by participants enjoying a Legends Riders-only reception complete with complimentary food, drinks and entertainment.

On Tuesday, Aug. 6, you’re invited to join a day of relaxing and uplifting festivities that celebrate the fastest-growing segment in motorcycling—WOMEN!—while supporting organizations benefiting women’s causes.

Women riders, passengers and the friends who support them are invited to gather for any or all of the events. Join with friends old and new, featured moto-celebs influencers and the founders of this event for Biker Belles Women’s Day!

Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Rusty Wallace Ride
I’ve met a great number of celebrities over my lifetime, but few as gracious and charismatic as NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace. He’s ranked as one of the top five money winners in NASCAR history, has 55 career victories over sixteen straight seasons and is honored in the “triple crown” of auto racing halls of fame. Rusty is one of America’s greatest racecar drivers of all time, and he is always ready to meet fans and lead the charge for great causes. We hit it off immediately and decided to work together to create a ride event that would benefit our favored charities while offering riders a chance to meet some of NASCAR’s most famous faces. So far, the Buffalo Chip has helped to raise over $2.1 million for local charities through events such as the Rusty Wallace Ride, Legends Ride and Biker Belles. Rusty and I hope that you will join us for the “Rusty Wallace Charity Ride” where you will mingle and ride with racing celebrities and support worthy charities.

All paid riders will reconvene back at The Rocksino by Hard Rock Deadwood for a private reception.
