Catch the vibe of the custom culture and hang out with cutting-edge builders on Sunday, August 8th at the Flying Piston Benefit Builders Breakfast. It’s an inner circle event that brings together top tier companies like Russ Brown, Strider and Kirsh Helmets to celebrate custom motorcycles and benefit new rider efforts.
Attendees meet the builders from the Chip’s prestigious Motorcycles As Art exhibit, curated by Michael Lichter, who will be there to shake hands, sign autographs and pose for pictures. And this year, that’s a never-before-gathered group of heritage custom builders, among them: Cory Ness, Billy Lane, Dave Perewitz, Bill Dodge, Rick Fairless, Kiwi Mike, Paul Cox, Sugar Bear, Ron Finch, Mondo, Eddie Trotta, Pat Patterson, Don Hotop, Jeff Cochran, Jim Nasi, Fred Kodlin, Paul Yaffe – and more!
Moto-celebs lend their support to this worthy effort, too, such as Rod “Woody” Woodruff, Michael Lichter, Moonshiner Josh, Cycle Source Editor Chris Callen, Bikernet Editor Keith Ball and emcee Bob Kay. Brian Klock, Xavier Muriel and Cris Summer Simmons stopped in last year! Surprise appearances are guaranteed!
But that’s not all: The 2020 class of Strider Builders unveil their Tiny Strider Custom this day. This year’s builders are: Ashmore Ellis, J. Shia, Alexis Dejoria, JoAnn Bortles, Diva Amy, Savannah Rose, Lena Fairless, Brittney Olsen, Cris Sommer Simmons – and Ron Finch! Two female build teams also participate, from Motorcycle Missions and Women Riders Now.
The Big Engine Bar at the Buffalo Chip CrossRoads is specially reserved just for this event. There’s a Bloody Mary cash bar and a fabulous silent auction packed with moto-inspired artwork, tools like a Tab & Slot plasma table, and selected items autographed by this remarkable group of legacy custom builders.
Proceeds benefit AllKidsBike, an initiative of the Strider Education Foundation that’s on a mission to teach every kid to ride a bike in kindergarten P.E. class. And Motorcycle Missions, bringing veterans suffering with PTSD into motorcycling. Let’s make more new riders!
Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet 30+ legendary builders; never gathered in one place before and perhaps never again!
Tickets are limited and are on sale online now for $20 each at or $25 at the door.
