The last rainy day today, for a while. We have had our normal month's amount of rain already this month and are about 7 or 8 inches above normal for the year. Must be "climate change".

We'd take any rain we could get... maybe a drop tonight, but we're so dry the water never hits the ground.

Drove down to Columbus, GA last night. Today we "laid to rest" a friend of over 20 years. The Living History community came out and fired 15 black powder muskets one at a time. My musket was the only one to misfire. That was common for flintlock muskets and fit for the desired effect.

Spent a amazing day watching the blue angels fly over San Francisco Bay , I would have to say it’s one of the coolest spots to see them fly :D I was also amazed at how clean the city was , saw maybe one or two homeless and almost no garbage all along the the water front and downtown

It's a dry sunny day and time to mow the grass again. A week or more of rain makes the grass grow.

We were there 20 ? years ago for fleet week. We were heading up Larkin St to Ghiradelli Square as the Blue Angels flew up the street. I swear they were only 500 feet above the street....Awesome sight, sound.

5" in spearfish, 12-14" at my place. Then the wind ame up... I am socked in tight. 3-4' tall drifts 30+' long. Neighbor has a 4-dr, 4x jeep with chains all around, stuck in front of my house. My jeep, no chains, got about 100' down my 300' driveway and got stuck - had to shovel it out. I HAVE to head to the other side of the state tomorrow - this is not going to be fun. :(

Good luck with that...most Xmas gifts are sitting in the Pacific ocean in containers on ships waiting to dock...lol. Store shelves are pretty empty here.
