So I went to the grocery store this morning - what are we 3 - 4 weeks into this now? There still was not 1 roll of toilet paper, paper towels or package of napkins. No cleaning supplies at all, none, no dish soap, no flour, sugar or butter. I can't comprehend what the fu*k is wrong with people. I believe we are close to rationing like they had during WW II.

Just got back from the City..Went to Wal-Mart..Same thing there,no toilet paper, kleenex or paper towels..No cleaning supplies,no hand sanitizer ,place was bloody empty of product..Yes it could come down to rationing if this keeps up.

In 2053, someone's grandchild will be celebrating after changing the last roll of toilet paper their grandparents purchased during Covid19 in 2020. :drinking: :drinking:

Things aren`t just quite the same are they..They are starting to open things up in Europe..Maybe in a few weeks we can do the same..

I'm positively wore slap out. I'm gonna rest the remainder of this day. Sheltering in place is killing me.

MN just got Stay at Home ordered until May 4. The only way this ends is everyone in the country starts wearing masks, homemade cloth...leave the manufactured ones for the health care workers. Otherwise the virus spread runs into summer and beyond. Masks stop the transfer from the infected individual more than prevention of the virus infecting ourselves.

I agree,we have been told to stay at home for the last few weeks..People for the most part are good about it,but some of the younger people think they are invincible and it won`t touch them..Covid -19 doesn`t discriminate..

Not looking to good for Sturgis..

I lit my woodstove yesterday for only the second time this year! The temps were in the low 40s and the wind was howling. I will let it go back out later today as it's supposed to be back up to 70 tomorrow. Crazy weather this winter/spring.

Another cool morning. Supposed to warm a little today, but only in our "normal" range. We had a nice spell of unusually warm weather which I enjoyed greatly and got a lot of work done outside.

48 degrees here today...missed the 59 earlier this week. Time to convert garage to summer, move snowmobiles to the back and maybe take the bike out for first MN ride after my buddy brought it back from AZ..since bike week was rescheduled. :ride:

Good morning and Happy Easter..Will be a different Easter this year, not being able to spend it with Family...Good thing I didn`t buy any chocolate,I would have had to eaten it all

Yes we spent the last couple of days putting the snowblower and winter crap into the little shed..Garage is cleaned up pretty good now..Now hopefully in a couple of weeks the weather will be decent enough to get a ride in..Not that there is a lot of places to ride right now..But even around town would be nice :ride: :ride:

Happy Easter everyone! We are going to do a drive by visit to see our grandchildren later today. It is almost unbearable that we can not hug them. :(

Happy Easter y'all. We spent some time with our daughter and son-in-law yesterday for Easter. Today we have cold rain and predicted severe windy weather. We are sheltering in place today.

Digging out today - we had 10"-12" of snow up at my place. Not goign to warm up until the weekend.
Glad we didn't have the tornados like the southern states.
Everyone ok?

Good morning..

We woke up to wind and snow and it is still snowing..But as you said Randee ,no tornadoes.
Supposed to warm up here as well by the weekend.hope this is the last kick at winter..Can`t go anywhere because of self isolation, but it would be nice to start in the garden..

Hope everyone is doing well and being safe..

Sturgis is a no go for us..Not even sure the border will be open by then but we feel because of our ages and some health issues,it would not be wise..Hopefully things are under control by August, but all it would take is one person to be infected and then spread it to a million people..And personally I would like to live a few more years :D

I have read on the Glencoe FB page people saying they are going, they don`t care if things are under control or not..I am guessing the residents of Sturgi may feel different..

We dodged the bullet early this morning. We were in the path of a tornado but it died before it got to us. We did get heavy heavy rain and 60 MPH winds. There is a lot of debris but the power never went out and it is sunny, cold and windy today.
