Sorry, I brain farted and thought it was Sancho heading out this way.

Welcome Kat, looks like you'll probably have a good time in Sturgis. Don't be surprised if you go home covered in Sharpie artwork if you party as hard as your dad!

Re: Rally Transportation

First there were bikers that rode to the Rally.

Then there were bikers that towed to the Rally.

Then there was Da Bus. Which has probably saved a few lives I'll agree.

Uber and Lyft???????????

I was pretty sure this used to be a motorcycle rally......

Have a great time and RIDE SAFE!

Yes Bear Tooth is AWESOME! Coming from Washington to Sturgis it would be a very scenic detour. I-90 east, then south to Red Lodge - Bear Tooth - Cooke City, Chief Joseph Scenic Byway to Cody, then Cody over the Bighorns to Ranchester and the I-90 east again. Possibly adds a whole day to the trip get...

Book your hotel for your overnight stays on the ride there and back early. Don't worry about not being on a Harley, lots of non H-D bikes in Sturgis. He...

Re: First Timers And Must Do's Questions

Hey, Stay in Sturgis or nearer to Sturgis. It won't be crowded, last year everyone was talking about record crowds for the 75th and it turned out to be a very low attendence year compared to 2006 or 2000 when it really was crowded. One exit south of Sturgis on the I-90 there are 3 nice campgrounds t...

Days End is real nice and not nuts, Glencoe if you want some shade and space and like the bands there, the Chip if you don't want to sleep much and like the bands there! Check their websites for entertainment dates.
