The news is telling us to prepar for a 6"-12" wet heavy snow... I'm ready. Sold the snowblower too! I hated that thing.
Kinda tuff riding the bike in that stuff. You need a snowplow in that hill, or just stay home.

Looks like Sturgis has about 3" of snow. Any snow is more than I want to ride in, got caught in a snow storm in the Blue Mountains in Oregon one time and that's when your life flashes before your eyes.

Deadwood got about 24". I'm 100' higher in elevation, just 15 miles to the north and I'm guessing we have 14" here at my place.

We got over 7" of rain this week, most of it last night. Flash floods all over the county, both rivers flooded, and the lake level rose 1.38' overnight. Just another event in Flood Alley...

Clouds finally cleared away a little while ago, so we'll have another spectacular sunset tonight. Then tomorrow afternoon a cold front will drop the lows into the 50s and highs in the 70s. That's closer to normal October temps, but it all heats back up next week. Still, as long as I don't have to wear long pants and socks, everything's good.

Woke up to the sun shining and it is going to be a great weekend, weather wise.We escaped winter for now. About 35 minutes south of us they had snow but it will melt away over the weekend.

Our grass is nice and green, probably could use a cutting before winter.Strange to say that in the middle of October, last year at this time we had snow. The weather has been so screwed up this year, maybe winter will by pass us
