Had a hard freeze last night, but we're into the 50s today and will be back to normal tomorrow. Was sitting in my chair this morning, looking at the ice on the deck, when a fox strolled along the deck, then down the stairs. Good thing the cat was inside -- he doesn't like interlopers on his deck.
Wound up with a little over an inch of moisture, which we desperately needed. Doesn't lift the drought, but it did result in a lift on the burn ban, so yesterday and today have been pretty smoky, with folks burning deadfall, pruning, scrap wood, etc.
Generally, it's been a nice day.
