No panic attack...but 35 cases in MN traced to Sturgis attendees as of today.

I heard a kitchen staff tested positive the last couple of days at Loud American - had limited contact with patrons.
SD is spiking, but a lot of it is East River, probably not rally related.
Last I saw, less than 200 hundred infections - so far. No doubt more coming. 460,000 people says lots more, even if the infection rate is low.

First supposed Covid death tied to Sturgis Rally reported in MN. The man was in early 60's with underlying conditions...

I'll bet we have more - a lot more even... but for 460,000 people the covid19 curve has been low and slow... so far.
Looking like the back to school cases are hitting way more people and a lot faster than what is happening via Sturgis.

SD has hit one of the top3 for cases/residents... but the vast majority of that is students and Sioux Falls and the populated counties like Huron... Even Sturgis/Meade county cases are students and those not associated with the Rally. Could change...

I read on Facebook the other day that they are saying 250,000 people contracted COVID from the rally. I know that is way off but I'm also sure it is more than 400 so who knows if an accurate number will ever be determined. We opted out this year since we did not want to tempt fate. We stay pretty close to home and when we have to go out, we wear masks and stay away from people as much as we can. We don't have a huge problem in Wyoming but one never knows. I just hope they come out with a vaccine soon.
Everything can be fixed with Duct tape and WD40
If it moves and it shouldn't, use the Duct tape
If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD40!

Won't be standing in any line to take an early vaccine, will take years to prove a vaccine is safe. Too much political motivation to come up with an early vaccine.

I agree. We don`t know what kind of crap they could be putting in us. They can`t cure cancers but they can find an immediate vaccine for covid. I think not.

I agree... The covid19 strain has mutated 6-8 times already. For the first 4-5 years, it will be like a flu shot...their best guess on the latest strain but not perfected.
I think it took 25 years for the chicken pox vaccine to be effective...I'll be 84 if it takes that long??
