HISTORYNESS ON WHEELS….AND TONS OF CLASS
Dublin California is the location of the (click on this link) Arlen Ness motorcycle Gallery and Museum that resides inside the Ness dealership at 6050Dublin Blvd, Dublin, California. Due to space limitations the gallery of Ness motorcycles is not 100% complete, but there is plenty to keep any Nessophile visually entertained. Arlen himself is the curator of this display. The Gallery is inside and upstairs at the Western end of the Ness building displaying not only motorcycles, but trophies, magazine plaques, and walls full of memorabilia that pretty much sum up the ongoing career of this show winning motorcycle builder. Arlen is still building show winning motorcycles. Arlen has always shown a lot of class as a rider and builder. Some of Arlens early-days Eastbay style custom motorcycles tell the tale of original styling from the mind of a hardcore motorcycle rider who still lives the life of an American biker. He can be seen out tooling around the Bay Area when business duties permit. His favorite ride these days is an oh-so comfortable Victory Bagger style motorcycle personally customized to fit his riding style. I say “hats off” to Arlen Ness, he helped push American motorcycling into the mainstream activity and popularity it enjoys today. If you’re Bay Area motorcycle rider, take a ride over to the Ness Gallery in Dublin, California, it doesn’t disappoint.
