Install the Samson transmission-to-pipe mounting bracket on the end cover, and tighten the hardware.
Now install the Samson exhaust pipe and muffle unit, being careful to seat it correctly in the ports so as not to damage or displace the exhaust gaskets.
Fit the flanges into place on the exhaust port studs and install the flanged washers finger tight
(slightly loose).
Now the Samson pipe assembly can be attached to the transmission mount/bracket!
Tighten the flange nuts at the exhaust ports of both front and rear cylinders.
Tighten the transmission mount hardware and the rear support bracket hardware nice and snug.
Always but always thoroughly clean the header pipe and muffler of the exhaust system prior to starting the motorcycle for the first time.
Install the clamps into the appropriate slots in the heat shield then install the heat shields onto the exhaust header pipe.
The rear heat shield clamp must be installed around the muffler section of the exhaust system.
Do a final tighten sequence on the heat shield clamps at this time.
Re install the front riders footboard at this time.
The finished installation is looking god and it makes excellent horsepower as well.
