Mr. Jim Defew’s talent and skill with a paint gun or an airbrush is well known to local custom motorcycle and custom car builders. Jim has designed and implemented radical flame and other off-the-hook paint designs for custom motorcycles and custom cars for many nationally known professional show car builders and exhibitors across the United States.
What is not as well known is the top-of-the-line auto body shop that makes up the bulk Jim Defew’s business. Jims all new shop has two heated custom designed and constructed paint booths that Jim together with Paintbooth Technologies designed especially for the Defew’s facility. The premier paint booth is the very first of a series Jim Defew signature paint booths. It is endowed with the serial number 001. Defews Custom Painting and Body Shop is also equipped with two frame state-of-the-art racks that assist in repairing heavily damaged vehicles. Specializing in insurance work, Jim also does work as we said before on family vehicles, custom cars and custom motorcycles. Jim is also a builder of custom motorcycles. Two hot new customs are on the menu, one will be debuted at Daytona Bike Week and the other at the Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, SD.
