IT MAY BE THE BEST RESTAURANT IN STURGIS SOUTH DAKOTA
So far the new Easyriders Saloon and Steakhouse has my opinion lived up to the Easyriders Magazine tradition of giving bikers what they want. The magazine is at the top of the charts, and now the Easyriders Saloon is developing a reputation for having the best biker breakfast in Sturgis South Dakota. Bikers like a big hearty breakfast, and it seems the locals do too. As this is written it is the “off-season” (almost no tourists) but the Saloon/Steakhouse enjoys a crowded parking lot virtually everyday. Full of cars and pickup trucks belonging to the sometimes tough to please Sturgis area residents who take their food seriously. I’ve eaten breakfast here several times, and the food & service are a cut above most any local eatery at breakfast. It’s not just my opinion, the crowded dining area of the lower level café is proof enough for me. Manager Norm Braaten runs a tight ship. You always gets your moneys worth at breakfast, the biscuits and gravy will keep you going way past lunch.
So you ask, what about dinner? I’ll let ya know shortly. Every Friday and Saturday the Saloon serves prime rib. I’m gonna run down there and sample the fare, and you’ll get my feed back (pardon the fun) be it good or bad. I’ve been told the prime rib at the Saloon is tops. Get back to me, I’ll let ya know.
