A HOME BREW CUSTOM BAGGER

Once his bitter-sweet much too early retirement from the Police Department was finalized, Sean Nickson decided to overhaul his basically stock 2006 Cobalt Blue Harley-Davidson Street Glide. With advice from friends “ERIC” from the Atlanta Chapter of Rare Breed Motorcycle Club and Dooley from Maryland he began stripping the bagger. Once his EBAY account was setup, his living room started looking like a UPS store. His wife Regina bestowed upon him the name “EBAY MAD MAN”. Every day Sean became more and more obsessed with finishing the rebuild and once the old parts were gone, hisUPS driver “Jim” was dropping deliveries off daily. Extended saddlebags and flush-mount taillight fender from Bad Dad were the first of the new stuff to show up. The next thing to arrive was a Renegade “ASPEN” model 21-inch front wheel and FBI full-wrap front fender. The existing stock exhaust system was dismounted and replaced with a Vance and Hines “BIG RADIUS” two INTO 2 exhaust system. Sean wanted this bike had to be very special, at least to him, so he contacted his good friend Freddy, owner/operator of Killer Kreations of Philadelphia Pa. Sean wanted to keep the bike blue but add a skull and guns theme. Ronnie, owner of Custom Billet Designs engraved Sean’s nickname “BUCKSHOT” into the long billet aluminum floorboards. For quality tunes while riding, especially at 80 MPH on the interstate, a Sony receiver was installed and coupled to a Hogtunes Tweeter Pod, J&M 7.25 inch front speakers and 6.25 inch Hogtunes speakers installed in a set of loud lids. If you dig those crazy gauge faces installed into the factory gauges you can get yours at www.hdgauges.com. They are located in Flint, Michigan. Sean enlisted the assistance of Brian from Schochs Harley Davidson dealership located in Stroudsburg Pa, he quickly agreed to take on the project and they reassembled Double Ought using dealer mechanical expertise. When Sean’s Double Ought Buck Shot Bagger was finally ready for the open road, he was happier than a kid on the last day of school. Just a few weeks after the bike was finished Sean decided he needed more in the audio department. A new “head banging/window rattling” sound system was installed which included a 600 watt amp (4) 6×9 speakers, and DVD/Navigation radio. The finished Double Ought Buck Shot is what you are looking at here. Crazy white skulls airbrushed over Cobalt blue. Extensively owner customized Harley-Davidson Bagger motorcycles are popping up everywhere, and hopefully you will more in the near future here on this blog.
