This is the book I am offering free as compensation to my unfortunate Phototoon victims. Photographs of American police motorcycles built between the early 1900s and the 1980s are featured in this printed tribute, as well as rare historical and archival photographs which tell the story of these two-wheeled workhorses. Included are brand names such as Harley-Davidson, Indian, and lesser-known American or domestic manufacturers such as Pope and Ace. I offer thanks to the motorcycle police associations around the country for their help and cooperation. I would hope that Ponch and Jon of “CHIPs” would be all smiles after viewing this book.
