CUSTOM CYCLE ART
PAINT AS ART…. ART AS PAINT
Joe Hudson has been riding motorcycles his entire adult life, and building custom motorcycles longer than he would tell me, but the bikes he builds and paints say "mucho experience" in any language. This bagger, which started life as a 2010 "Geezer Glide" out performs most of his previous motorcycles with very limited motor work. The Vance & Hines "crossover" header pipe and mufflers produced the performance Joe wanted with no major motor surgery.
A little help in the deep breathing department is provided by a K&N high flow air filter filter on the intake side. Screamin eagle 255 cams open and close the valves on time every time. High Desert HD in Boise, Idaho performed the motor work. The gas tank stretch was accomplished with California Baggers tank covers, and dash assembly. Both FLHX stock fenders have been body-worked to "smooth" condition. Sew Right Upholstery produced the seat on the spot at the Buffalo Chip during the annual 2011 Sturgis motorcycle Rally. That front wheel is a Renegade product, and is endowed with matching brake rotors. Keeping Joe ears happy is Hog Tunes speakers and amplifier with tweeter bar. Lamborghini white pearly is decorated with air brushed skulls over Orion Silver with House of Kolor Black lower.
Joe is also a hard rider as the weather permits. Boise has snow in the winter like most states at that latitude. The Bagger pictured here is Joe personal ride, and would be justified in having a little road grime here and there, but Joe keeps it as pristinely clean as he can, maybe just to impress potential customs, but more likely because he takes tremendous pride in his work.
