NEWS UPDATE FOR ALL CALIFORNIA BIKERS………….
As you may have heard, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) is conducting an investigation into the sale and installation of aftermarket motorcycle exhaust systems. We understand that several manufacturers and distributors, including Tucker Rocky, have been approached by CARB to provide a sales history of their respective product lines. The following article provides some useful background regarding enforcement of exhaust laws and regulations. http://www.dealernews.com/dealernews/News/Significantenforcement-of-California-exhaustlaws/ArticleStandard/Article/detail/723009. Tucker Rocky, through its attorneys, has cooperated with this investigation and provided CARB with the requested information. Tucker Rocky has not heard from CARB since providing documents in November of 2011. We understand that CARB is now approaching dealers associated with several different manufacturers and distributors, including Tucker Rocky, with requests to review their sales records as well. We cannot give you legal advice regarding how to respond to a CARB visit; only an attorney can do so. We can confirm that Tucker Rocky believes it has complied with all applicable laws and regulations, and will continue to do so. We encourage you, or your attorneys, to contact us if you are contacted by CARB and have any questions about the matter. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
