Install the Biketronics radio/CD player mounts as shown using the hardware included in the kit.
Carefully wiggle the radio/CD player through the wiring and position in in the dash opening so the the plate and dash are aligned.
After ensuring that the radio/CD player are aligned correctly in the dash opening, install and tighten the mounting screws.
Install the adapter "in Line" between the existing stock wiring harness and the radio/CD player.
Plug the amplifier cords into the amp, remove the sticky tape cover the mounting strips and press the amp into place on top of the receiver.
Attach the speaker leads as show making sure you have the left and right sides correctly installed.
An antenna with super range reception was installed and tie-wrpped into position after drilling two holes in the inner faring flange.
The radio power lead (with fuse link) was routed under the gas tank to the positive terminal of the battery. It is switchable meaning that the ignition switch detemines when the radio receives power.
The stock inner fairing "ground point" is used to ground the radio!
The faceplate can now be snapped into place to allow radio function and control.
We must have done everything correctly, the Biketronics/Sony radio/CD player unit fired right up and sounds great.
This is the microphone included inthe Biketronics kit that allows all the bluetooth functions to operate with your smart phone.
The music caused a smile to appear on Kevin's face. A motorcycle rider face only a mother could love....LOL!
With the clear splash guard in place the face plate of the radio is protected from moisture.
