Well that didn't take long. Haven't had the bike a year and just replaced the twist grip sensor. When I made the decision to buy a bike with the fly by wire throttle I had misgivings. They are worse now. A throttle on a bike should have cables.

Anybody else had any issues with theirs?

Ummm... no. My bike is 21 years old, 1340 evo, carburetor and a throttle cable. And I can work on it myself...

Oh, I understand that quite well. I have an "82 shovel I bought new. Don't know how many miles it has on it, but somewhere in the 120,000 - 130,00 range. Had many before & since but they come and go.
It stays & I work on it. Even had one of them modern EVO thingys. Quite possibly the most bullet proof hi mileage engine HD ever built. But now I require comforts.
That shovel could tell you some stories.

What were we talking about?
