The Bitch Seat

Nothing too technical here, just Creeping Jennie's perspective on topics ranging from Rally tips, dos and don'ts, things that piss me off, and cool things I want to share.

Creeping Jennie

Creeping Jennie

Jennie was born and raised in the Rapid City, South Dakota area. She met a military man who dragged her around the world. After learning many Italian swear words, Jennie returned home to Rapid City, plus a couple of kids, but minus a husband. She eventually met an Australian man at the Rally and married him. She now occasionally teaches, often writes, and always enjoys the view from the Bitch Seat. Follow me on Twitter @creepingjennie

Is beer rented, or is it catch and release? Either way, we all yearn for a little “release” a few times a day. Ahhh the porta-potty! Where would Sturgis be without you, portable shit can? Tattoo shops are set up virtually everywhere in Sturgis during the rally. Tattoo artists from everywhere come to ink up some of the hundreds of thousands of bikers who call the Black Hills “home” for a week. It’s a chance for ...

I bet you’re wondering who the hell this “Creeping Jennie” chick is, and why you should bother reading this blog. All right, I’ll explain.    I’m a middle aged housewife from Rapid City South Dakota, and I like writing and motorcycles. (And world peace. Tee hee!) Unfortunately, I have some physical issues that prevent me from riding my own bike. I have had arthritis in my hands since my mid-twenties, and coupled with the insanely small size of my paws, I simply can’t pull in a clutch ...
